Firm ripe tomatoes 4
Onion 1
Garlic 5 pods
Green chilly 1
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Turmeric a pinch
Salt as required
Oil 1 tbsp

Cooking instructions for making Tomato chutney Tamilnadu Style:
Add green chilly, salt and fry well till tomatoes are well cooked.
Then grind them to a smooth paste.
Heat 2 tsp oil and fry mustard and curry leaves.
Once they are fried, add ground tomato paste. Add red chilly powder and mix.
Let the chutney boil for a minute.
Switch off and serve hot with dosa.
