Green Peas is a favorite for all age groups. I love green peas and would love to eat the green peas masala, green peas pulao, green peas kachori. Now this curry is indo chinese as I have used both Indian masala and sauces. A yoummy curry for Phulkha.
Ingredients:
Green Peas- 1 cup
Cauliflower florets- 2 cups
Onion- 2 (Finely chopped)
Garlic - 20 pods (Finely chopped)
Green Chilly- 3 (Finely chopped)
Tomato ketchup- 5 tbsp
Water- 100 ml
Chilly Powder- 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil- 2 tbsp
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai and add garlic and green chilly.
Fry them well and add finely chopped onion.
Add salt and fry till onion turns golden brown.
Add chilly powder and stir for 2 minutes.
Add green peas and cauliflower florets.
Stir well to coat the masalas.
Add water and boil till green peas and florets get cooked completely.
For this let the mixture boil, then cover with lid and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
Open the lid after 5 minutes.
Add the ketchup and give a quick stir and cook for one more minnute.
Put off flame and serve hot with roti or pulao of your choice.
