Masala Buttermilk

With the scorching summer some simple, tasty coolers are good to subside the heat. Wonderful thirst quenchers.



Ingredients:
Chilled Curd- 1 cup
Water- 2 cups (no chilling)
Coriander LEaves- few
Curry Leaves- few
Ginger- 1 1inch piece
Cumin- 1 tsp (optional)
Green Chilly- 2  (can vary)
Salt- as per taste
Chilled water- 2 cups

Method:
Masala Buttermilk
In a mixer-grinder take a big jar with the whipping blade attachment.
Pour 1 cup chilled curd and 2 cups of normal water and beat for 3 minutes to remove butter(fat).
Now the left over is the buttermilk.
Masala Buttermilk
Add 2 cups of chilled water and keep aside.
Grind coriander, green chillies, ginger, cumin and curry leaves along with 3 tbsp of buttermilk to a smooth paste.
Add this paste to buttermilk, add salt and mix well.
Serve chilled.
